About the Event
Many youth struggle to express themselves in positive, non detrimental ways. There can be a lack of appropriately developed coping skills or ways to vent. Couple this with a disconnect from parents and those perceived as authority figures, they can develop misguided or rushed decision making practices.
Developing appropriate ways to express one's thoughts, feelings, and emotions aid teens and pre-teens with age appropriate decision making abilities. This empowerment should spurn continued "think first" mentality while learning to breathe and count prior to action should also prove valuable.
This workshop will demonstrate ways to express one's self by utilizing calculated thought while presenting confidence. It will also demonstrate breathing techniques to allow processing of one's thought.
