Pete D Hardy III
LCPC
My beliefs are that people hold the keys to their own healing and addressing of the trauma in their lives. You have to be the driving force and navigator behind the pursuit of a healthy mind, body, and spirit. The act of being not only heard but understood is healing in-and-of itself, however I do understand the idea and process of gaining self-awareness via counseling can seem overwhelming and frightening. An outside view and perspective can assist with guiding and directing one down this path of self-enlightenment and self-healing. I take pride in providing a safe and harmonious environment that has the potential for faster growth and
self-awareness. Sometimes this environment requires one to come face to face or at terms with their fears, flaws, struggles or role in the trauma and situation they are experiencing, but I believe this affords one the opportunity for personal growth, development, and ultimately healing.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I have provided various forms of counseling services including family, individual, group, mental health, and substance abuse; specializing in areas such as trauma, grief, mental health, anger management, and substance abuse. I have over 10 years’ experience providing these services, obtaining my Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2008 from Northeastern University.
