Mindfulness for Depression Group

About the Event
If you are suffering from major depression, or simply want to find ways to alleviate depression’s effect on your life, come join us for an 8-week group focused on strengthening the mind-body connection in order to live more effectively with our symptoms. Modern Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy comes from a combination of Eastern meditative traditions and modern psychological frameworks. Proven by research to reduce the recurrence of major depressive episodes, it is now used in treatment for stress, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and a variety of other condition. If you feel like a deeper mind-body connection might help you experience life more richly, or if you’re simply interested in trying a new mode of therapy, please reach out!
