About the Event

What is it that you value in life, and how are you honoring that and letting it guide your life actions? Whether this is stretching your body, learning a skill, or networking, how can you align your actions with what you deem valuable?

Becoming more comfortable and aware of your body can allow both your body and mind to be more in sync, as well more relaxed. Stretching and breathing intentionally are methods of combating stress and inviting your parasympathetic nervous system to take the wheel. Doing this is Sending Yourself Love!

This workshop will teach about the stress response, and the benefits of intentionally inviting relaxation and calmness, and scheduled care based in your own values. Carolyn will lead participants in practicing self-reflections, personal value inventory, and relaxation activities using stretching, movement, breath, and affirmations. Stretching will be offered sitting in a chair, standing, and on the ground. There will be time for creating your own self care plan for your at-home practice.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the same workshop that was also offered in December 2020.

** If you want to try out some floor work, please be prepared with your own blanket or yoga mat for comfort. **
