About the Event

Each member of a couple brings their history with them into the relationship. At times, our partners seem to press those buttons that instantly trigger us to reactions that are emotion laden and even visceral. Their actions or reactions can activate our core vulnerabilities and create a cycle of hurt and lashing out. Learning to adjust communication and becoming aware of the other’s needs can avoid a destructive pattern. Ideally, each partner can flourish in the life journey together.

Participants can expect to learn and practice communication skills. Couples will have an opportunity to explore the filters through which they view themselves, their partners, and the world. They will learn how filters can contribute to patterns of interaction In relationships.
